SENSOR+TEST is the leading trade fair for sensors, measuring and testing technologies, attracting visitors from across the globe. At this year’s show, Swindon Silicon Systems, which designs, tests and supplies custom ICs for the industrial and automotive markets, will demonstrate why mixed signal ASICs and integrated Micro Electro Mechanical Systems (MEMS) sensor interface solutions are increasingly favoured across multiple sensor-driven applications.
A 2023 report from IoT Analytics projected that by 2025, the growth of IoT devices could increase to 27 billion connected devices. For Swindon, this highlights the potential of using ASICs in an increasingly connected world. These improvements in silicon design and manufacturing processes are introducing ASICs to many more applications, and the technology is crucial to delivering smarter, sensor-based capabilities.
